    Personal trainers start at $125 per session. Nationwide, personal trainers cost between $85-$165 per session. What impacts the cost of working with an ActivU Personal Trainer? Session Location: Surprisingly, session costs are lower when the personal trainer travels to the client’s home, building, gym, or meets at a local park. Most gyms that offer personal training charge high session rates, require an expensive membership, do not allow the client to select the trainer, and offer no refunds if it’s not the right match. Personal Trainer Certification: Not all certifications are created equal. Insist upon a trainer who has been certified by an NCCA-accredited organization and who has also been background checked to ensure the accuracy of their provided credentials. All personal trainers with ActivU are certified by an NCCA-accredited organization, have a minimum 4-year bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, have been background checked, and are fully insured. Session Duration: Most Personal Trainers recommend 60-minute sessions. Session duration always depends on the client’s current fitness level and goals. Personal trainers will always customize your workouts from beginners just getting started to those trying to break through a plateau! Sessions Purchased: The larger the session package purchased, the deeper the discount. The more times you work out, the quicker your progress. You and your trainer will determine the right frequency for you and your goals. Session Type: Our personal trainers offer partner and small group training sessions in addition to individual personal training sessions. Individual personal training session provides the greatest attention to the client’s specific needs - including motivation, accountability, injury prevention, nutrition, and goals.

  • Do I need to provide any equipment?

  • What are the benefits of a membership?
    Memberships provide discounted rates, flexibility to choose from multiple services, and convenience by having pre-paid sessions ready to use.
  • Can I share my membership sessions?
    No, memberships cannot be shared with family members or friends.

    Sessions do not roll over, so we encourage scheduling early to make the most of your plan.
